Major Itunes Podcast Change

iTunes Image Size and Format – IMPORTANT! Power press is reporting that iTunes image artwork recommendations have changed to 1400 x 1400 in jpg format. You can use a png in RGB format, but keep in mind that a png at that resolution will negatively impact the loading performance due to its file size. We believe the image size change is for the upcoming Apple TV’s that will be released this fall. Your podcast artwork will need to be at least 1400 x 1400 in order to be featured in the iTunes podcast directory. The artwork saved within your...

Twitter Church

Posted by on Sep 25, 2013 in General, Marketing, Technology | 0 comments

As an early adopter of technology I came across this blog post about the Twitter Church. This may not be for every church or for every church service – but it does hold some possibilities for reaching and connecting in our services. I watched the debates this past year – chatting on facebook – watching on CNN – and watching online via a twitter tv. What a phenominal experience. The ability to really interact with people across the world in realtime was absolutely amazing. I have never felt as in touch with the political...

New Phishing Attack Spreading On Facebook. This Time From FBstarter

New Phishing Attack Spreading On Facebook. This Time From FBstarter by Erick Schonfeld on April 30, 2009 Courtesy of techcrunch.com Yesterday a phishing scam spread across Facebook in the form of a message form a friend asking you to click on a link which took you to what appeared to be a Facebook login, but was actually at a different URL, http://fbaction.net. It was quickly blocked. But now there seems to be a new one linking to http://fbstarter.com/. It comes in the form of a message from a friend telling you to “Look at this!” When...

Win in 2010 Christian Entrepreneur Fast

It is the beginning of a new year. A time to reflect on the past year, and recalibrate for the upcoming year. This is a time to set goals, make new choices and in some cases shed the old baggage that has kept you bound to an old paradigm. Wow that was a long sentence. One of the things that should be chief among any Christian entrepreneur, is to hear from the Lord. As such, this year I have joined with Rod Kirby of the Success Center, as well as many other Christian entrepreneurs to sponsor, the Win in 2010 Entrepreneur Fast. What is it? Well,...

Review: H4N Handy Recorder

H4n Handy RecorderThe H4n Recorder is a truly remarkable piece of technology. With its built-in X/Y stereo mics it can record at either 90° or 120°. It is capable of four channel simultaneous recording using built-in and external mics has digitally controlled, high-quality mic preamp for improved audio quality. The large 1.9-Inch LCD screen and improved user interface make for easy operation. To top it all of a 24bit/96kHz Linear PCM recording makes the recording very pristine. In my opinion I’d give this product an eight out of ten. I use...

How to Use Evernote in Speaking and Preaching

I have been using Evernote for a couple of years now. I use it to manage meeting notes, store blogging ideas, and file interesting articles I read on the Web. It has basically become my electronic brain. However, unlike my aging brain, Evernote provides near-instant recall. Recently, I started using it to manage the raw components of my speeches. I have seen a lot of different systems for this. One of my authors, who is also a popular public speaker, once showed me his system. It contained literally thousands of 4? x 6? cards, arranged...
